Yusen Logistics has launched operations from its new shared-user warehousing and distribution facility in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.
The new distribution facility is part of the company’s five-year drive to expand its UK presence. Dubbed Transform 2025, the strategy aims to see the company double in size over the next five years.

The new facility will initially service one core customer, which the company declined to identify. Yusen will also manage operations from the site, which is owned by a Yusen customer, and undertake to bring in new customers to the facility.
Yusen will use 218,000 sq ft of the facility. The company said the Wolverton site gives it further growth opportunities, with 50,000 sq ft currently available for occupation from April 2020.
The deal follows the announcement last month that Yusen Logistics had begun operations at its new cross-dock facility in Northampton.
