United Pallet Network reports solid Q1 trading

Leicester-based United Pallet Network (UPN) has reported solid growth in the first quarter of 2019 despite challenging market conditions across the sector.

The company saw turnover in the period ending 31 March 2019 rise 7% to £9.5m compared with £8.8m for the same period the previous year.

Pre-tax profit also increased, climbing 5.6% to £3.4m (2018: £3.2m).

Back in February 2019, Deeside-based Mars Jones took on the CH postcode area for UPN.

UPN also recruited Xpression Logistics, which is part of Oxfordshire-based Xpression Event Solutions.
