Diamond Logistics said inbound enquiries had doubled over the last six months as demand for scalable outsourced fulfilment has grown.

It said the surge in interest reflected mounting pressure on growing businesses to manage fulfilment costs and service levels at a time when in-house warehousing and self-managed logistics are becoming increasingly complex and expensive.

Diamond said Despatchlab was central to its growth, a proprietary logistics and fulfilment platform that brings together carrier management, warehouse management and real-time delivery visibility.

It operates a national network of independent, owner led logistics partners and it added that as demand rises it aims to reach 50 network partners by Q1 2027.

Kate Lester, Diamond Logistics founder and CEO, said: “More businesses are recognising that fulfilment is no longer a back office function – it’s central to customer experience, cashflow and growth.

“Outsourcing doesn’t mean losing control; on the contrary, if done properly, it gives brands more visibility and flexibility than managing everything themselves, which from our perspective is becoming entirely unnecessary for the vast majority of start-ups and scale ups.”
