Scottish firm Menzies Distribution has renewed its partnership with Yodel which will see it deliver more than 1.7m parcels a year to customers in Scotland.
Menzies, which operates a fleet of around 190 vehicles, has been in partnership with Yodel since 2018. Under the extended partnership Yodel receives and sorts parcels from the retailer at one of its three hubs, before transferring it to Menzies to fulfil the final mile element of delivery.
Stephen Mooney, parcels operations director at Menzies, said: “We’re very proud to be renewing our partnership with Yodel, allowing us to continue delivering to a potential 5.5 million customers across Scotland.

“Our expertise lies in delivering across challenging geographies, and our network reaches every postcode in the highlands and islands as well as the rest of Scotland.”
Rick Southwood, director of operational services at Yodel, said: “Menzies has been an excellent partner for Yodel so far, thanks to its unrivalled experience in delivery and collection services across the whole of Scotland.
“Both companies share a passion for putting people first and providing outstanding customer service. Menzies has unrivalled capability in delivering to difficult-to-reach places, and their growth and investment strategy is also aligned to our brand values, which made it an easy decision for us to renew the partnership.
“The relationship has gone from strength to strength, and we’re looking forward to seeing it continue to develop in the next few years.”
