Yodel has had its contract to provide the logistics for The Tour of Britain extended by five years.
The operator will continue to be the official logistics partner for the cycling event and will transport thousands of tonnes of equipment and race infrastructure across the country using a fleet of 30 vehicles.
Yodel’s executive chairman Dick Stead said: “In cycling and in the parcels business, delivery depends on teamwork and the need to be on top of your game day after day, which is why we are delighted to continue our association with The Tour of Britain.”
The operator delivers around 700,000 bicycles and cycle parts per year on behalf of UK retailers.
The Tour of Britain will take place over eight stages in September.
