XPO signs deal with AKW Medi-Care

XPO Logistics has chalked up another contract win this year with a deal to distribute products on behalf of AKW Medi-Care – a manufacturer of adaptive fixtures for bathrooms and kitchens.

The flexible last-mile solution designed by XPO involves a dedicated HGV fleet running an average of 30 routes per day, distributing products to trade and e-commerce customers from AKW’s warehouse in Droitwich Spa and satellite depots.

XPO will also shuttle stock between AKW warehouses in Droitwich and provide palletised transport and global forwarding services.

This latest partnership follows a string of contract wins for XPO in 2020, including a five-year deal supporting the Home Office’s Border Force operations; a contract with Samsung Climate Solutions; a distribution deal with Beko Appliances; an Asda contract extension and a three-year deal with building materials group Etex.
