XPO has won a contract with TotalEnergies to provide inbound and outbound transportation of packaged lubricants to its UK customers.

The long-term deal will see the two businesses work together to improve operational efficiencies and enhance customer deliveries.

The transport services include inbound, full truckload freight from France, Belgium and the UK plant; customs brokerage and shared user network distribution.

Chris Wall, TotalEnergies supply chain manager, said: “We are delighted to be working with XPO Logistics, which is a leading provider of integrated logistics services of packed lubricants, a key factor in our decision to choose XPO as our partner after a competitive tender process.

“Both companies also share a culture of safety, continued innovation with a commitment to sustainable solutions.”

TotalEnergies also benefits from a multi-client warehousing solution in one of XPO’s central Midland locations.

Dan Myers, XPO Logistics MD for UK and Ireland, added: “TotalEnergies is a leader in safety, quality and innovation in the packed lubricants sector; working in partnership, we will bring the same standards and approach to the provision of logistics services.”
