Parcels and mail firm Whistl has opened the door to faster procurement by becoming independently certified to the Contractor Health and Safety Advanced Standard (CHAS) which allows it to demonstrate its ability to ensure supply chain compliance, mitigate risks and support efficient supply chain management.

The accreditation also includes the PAS91 standard which enables it to fast-track its procurement process by demonstrating as a contractor that it already complies to the latest standards across a number of criteria.

The accreditation covers health and safety, bribery and corruption, fraud, training, compliance, legal and regulatory requirements across modern slavery and EDI.
