Volumech opened the doors for its first Christmas open day and welcomed a number of new and existing customers at the event.
As well as offering Christmas market food, the day provided an opportunity for the volumetric mixer firm to showcase its Wednesbury facility and offer demonstrations of the equipment and insights into its advanced concrete testing capabilities.
Customers were invited to attend and meet the Volumech team, including the CEO, the new general manager Steve Cartwright and the sales, workshop, parts and operations teams.
Cartwright said: “The event was a demonstration of Volumech’s unmatched capabilities and commitment to the volumetric mixer industry. Our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment set the standard for excellence, and we are proud to lead the way supporting operators with innovative solutions and excellent service.
“We were delighted to meet so many existing and new customers face-to-face and to have new trucks sold as a result.”
The company said one customer, Angus Reid, placed an order for his first volumetric mixer – the Cemen Tech C60 – as he prepares to launch R&R Concrete, serving customers across the East Midlands from next March.
Phil Kettyle, director at concrete firm Kettle and Black, a long standing Volumech customer, also signed up to add new C60 mixers to his fleet.
