Kevin Nightingale has become regional director for the central division at United Pallet Network (UPN), completing a senior restructure at the pallet network.
Nightingale has previous management experience at the likes of Wincanton, P&O and Hargreaves.
He is the latest recruit to the team following David Brown's step up from commercial director at UPN to MD earlier this year, and subsequent changes aimed at delivering greater member support and development.
UPN had already appointed former Fortec man Andrew Knowles alongside Jayne Lowndes from UK Pallets as regional directors at the start of the year. Its fourth regional director is Andrew Spencer who has been with the business since 2009 covering the Midlands, East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
The network also confirmed Richard Arnold as its legal director. As partner in Wilson Brown Solicitors, Arnold has been the UPN company solicitor for some 15 years, and recently retired from practice.
He is based at UPN’s new offices in Leicester. The company’s central hub is located at Fradley Park near Lichfield.
The changes come as UPN confirmed that Glenn Boldy, network services director, had taken early retirement from his role at the pallet network after more than nine years service.
