All 68 drivers at United Biscuits have now successfully completed their final 7.5 hours of Driver CPC training.
Bill Hooton, national transport controller at United Biscuits, says he is “delighted and proud” that all drivers have completed their CPCs. “We are committed to ongoing annual training and recognise the benefits, as it helps focus and maintain high standards in safety and operation performance,” he explains. “Our training gets great feedback from the drivers and they help contribute to the training programme.”
United Biscuits developed its Driver CPC programme in conjunction with Squire Management and Training in 2009. The firm is a six-time MT Awards winner, and won the Low Carbon and Efficiency title in 2011 for the second year in a row.
The entry deadline for this year’s MT Awards is now upon us (16 March). Don’t miss out on the industry’s top accords, visit www.mtawards.co.uk today.
