Breezemount has picked PodFather’s real-time goods tracking system for its two-man home delivery operation following a successful trial.

The company will roll out the live tracking and electronic proof of delivery software to its 23 sites in the UK and Ireland, which operate 250 vehicles, making more than one million B2C deliveries a year.

PodFather’s system allows customers to upload daily orders and see completed journeys, route management for calculating ETAs, one-hour delivery window notifications and GPS driver tracking.

Breezemount business improvement manager Phillip Herbert said: “We trialled the system at two of our depots before committing to a full roll out. All staff found it to be reliable and easy to use, and we were impressed at the speed that our requirements were met with the system in its standard set up”.
