Translink Express Logistics has signed the largest contract in its history with a £5m, five-year deal to provide cleaning products firm Ramon Hygiene with UK-wide transport.

The Leicester haulier said the success of its long-term partnership with Ramon was in large part due to its Pallet-Track membership.

The company now ships up to 150 fully tracked pallets per day to supermarkets, wholesalers, and distribution centres.

It has also provided warehousing for Ramon Hygiene’s products since the partnership began in 2007.

Chris Hobbis, director at Translink Express Logistics, said: “Our extensive UK coverage, facilitated by our partnership with Pallet-Track, ensures that we can deliver efficiently and effectively to any destination on behalf of Ramon Hygiene.

“Over the years, we have developed a profound understanding of their business, its needs and the team’s expectations, which has been instrumental in fostering a mutually beneficial working dynamic.”
