Tip-Ex/Tank-Ex 2021 to include brand new Transport Manager Conference

Tip-Ex/Tank-Ex will be bursting back onto the scene in the bustling market town of Harrogate this summer, following its postponement last year due to the pandemic.

We’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure this comeback event is our biggest, busiest event to date with a host of new activities planned.

From four halls packed with the latest fleet equipment, to a brand-new Transport Manager conference, a dedicated driver day and everything else in between, we can’t wait to throw open the doors from 3-5 June 2021.

Who’s exhibiting?

This year’s event will have more than 100 exhibitors situated across four vast exhibition halls for visitors to explore, as well as some fantastic outside displays.

The show can be an ideal opportunity to browse the latest vehicles and technology on the market, chat directly with manufacturers and snap up that all-important fleet bargain!

Leading truck manufacturers including DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault and Volvo will all be represented at the show with their latest models.

Alongside this will be big name body-builders, trailer, tanker, tipper gear and load-handling manufacturers including Feldbinder, Hiab, Jost, Paneltex, Thompsons, VanHool Tankers UK, VPG, Wilcox Commercial Vehicles and many more.

Workshop equipment will also feature heavily, as will all the accessories and kit you need to keep your fleet compliant on the road, from cameras and telematics, to walking floors and hydraulic tipping gear – you name it, you’ll find it at the show.

Transport Manager Conference - Brand-new for Tip-Ex and Tank-Ex 2021!

Knowledge is key, and keeping abreast of the latest vehicle and industry-wide regulations can be a full-time job in itself.

That’s why Tip-Ex and Tank-Ex 2021 is excited to be launching a brand-new Transport Manager Conference, which will take place on Thursday 3 June at Harrogate Convention Centre.

Free to attend, this three-hour event will be packed with the latest need-to-know guidance for managing fleets and keeping on the right side of the Traffic Commissioner.

A jam-packed morning session will include presentations from government officials, top transport lawyers and leading operators. You’ll also hear from technology leaders about the latest compliance tools emerging to market to make your job a little easier.

Knowledge Zone

‘Hall C’ at Tip-Ex will this year be hosting a much-expanded Knowledge Zone, trialled for the first time in 2019. A three-day programme of engaging stage talks will cover topics ranging from alternative fuels and tipper/tanker innovation, through to immersive driver training. An exciting line-up of top industry speakers is beginning to take shape nicely, so we’re confident there will be a topic to suit everyone’s business.

North Stars

The inaugural Transport News Northern Rewards champagne breakfast will be held on Friday 4 June, alongside Tip-Ex and Tank-Ex at the Royal Hall, Harrogate.

These prestigious rewards will recognise and celebrate the achievements of road haulage related companies and individuals, based in the geographical areas stretching from the Scottish Borders to the south side of the M62 corridor.

Driver Day

Saturday in Harrogate is this year dedicated to tipper and tanker drivers and their families. There will be a host of exciting activities for you to take part in, while an eye-catching display of working tippers and tankers will be on show. Hear about a “Day in the Life of a Truck Racing Pro” with Stuart Oliver, tuck into a tasty burger from our delicious fresh BBQ, or head over to our wellbeing booth for a free health check – plus much, much more.
