Tiger Trailers designed, built and supplied 49 temperature-controlled reefers for temperature-controlled convenience food supplier Greencore after a competitive bidding process.
The new reefers are split across 37 single and 12 dual-temperature vehicles.
Greencore has also taken on 19 liveried rental trailers from Tiger, comprising 15 single and four dual-temperature variants, the latter equipped with 1.5-tonne Dhollandia tail-lifts with P-gates, three-way ramps and a wander lead for easier and safer operation.
Tiger key account manager Thomas Stott and sales manager Anna Christie led the collaboration with Greencore; Christie said: “Our temperature-controlled range is a core, rapidly growing focus, so we’re delighted to introduce chilled Tiger products to another high-profile food service operator.”
