Chemical transport specialists Tapfreight has taken delivery of 11 new Schmitz Cargobull trailers, replacing units from a rival manufacturer.

The S.CS Fixed Roof curtainsiders semi-trailers will be paired with DAF and Mercedes-Benz tractor units to transport chemical goods and general freight across the UK.

Bob Milton, director at Barnsley-based Tapfreight, said: “These are the first trailers we have had from Schmitz Cargobull and we’ve been hugely impressed from start to finish.

“The price point was very appealing and when I went to inspect the trailers, I was really struck by the build quality. Now we have physically taken delivery of the trailers that quality has been reinforced.”

“The lead time was another plus point for us,” added Milton. “And the level of service we have received has been first class.”
