Stan Robinson Group said it had experienced another successful year with its financial position “extremely healthy” according to its latest financial results.

The Staffordshire haulier saw turnover reduce by just 2% to £26.1m in the year ending 31 May 2024; however, when excluding its diesel surcharge it said there had been an increase to £25.5m compared to £24.9m the year before.

Pre-tax profit fell by 24% to £905,000, but the company said it remained financially strong with “very good levels of cashflow providing self-funding, without the need for bank financing”.
