North London haulier Security Escorts Transport has joined forces with pallet network Pallet-Track.
The Willesden-based haulage firm, which has a fleet of nine vehicles and four trailers, will take on the HA and “some of the NW” postcode areas, after the areas were “relinquished by another member”, according to a Pallet-Track spokeswoman.
The firm will use Pallet-Track’s southern hub in Welwyn Garden City.
Sandip Ahluwalia, MD of Security Escorts Transport, said: “Pallet-Track’s friendly approach to business and fair shareholding offering is what attracted us to the network.
"We’re confident that the team will help us to expand our portfolio and provide a complete package for our current customers.
Security Escorts Transport has previously been part of the Fortec and TPN pallet networks, but the firm has not been in membership to either for several years.
Nigel Parkes, MD of Pallet-Track, said: “We’re thrilled that Security Escorts Transport has chosen to come on board. Business in and around London is constantly expanding so adding another member in this area can only be beneficial – both for the network and our existing depots.”
