Shaun Stephenson has re-joined rental and contract hire business Ryder as its director of engineering.
Shaun was at Ryder until 2012 as head of operations. The company said his new role acknowledges the increasing importance that engineering is playing in the own account and logistics sector.
Shaun has held senior fleet roles at major truck operators – most recently director of fleet at G4S and, prior to that, director of fleet at Bidvest Logistics. He has also worked for Biffa and Arla Foods.
Stephenson said: "I’m delighted to be re-joining Ryder at such an exciting and challenging time for transport and logistics. I look forward to leading Ryder’s dialogue with our OEM partners and engaging with our customers on emerging technology and environmentally friendly transport solutions."
