Roger Alm has succeeded Claes Nilsson as president of Volvo Trucks and as a member of Volvo Group’s executive board.
Alm began his career at Volvo Trucks in 1989 and has worked in areas from product development to service, parts, sales and general management.
Since 2016, Alm has been senior vice-president for Volvo Trucks Europe.

In his new position, Alm is part of the group’s executive board and will report to Martin Lundstedt, president and CEO of the Volvo Group.
Nilsson, who has now retired, became president of Volvo Trucks in March 2016.
