Transaid is holding a fundraising event for keen motorcyclists at the National Motorcycle Museum on Saturday 1 July.
The ticket price of £100 exc VAT includes a barbeque lunch, entry to the museum and a sizeable donation to Transaid.
The format for the event is simple – ride your bike to the museum, have a good lunch with like-minded enthusiasts from transport and logistics and maybe collect an award for the oldest or cleanest bike at the event.
Motorbikes have featured in several of Transaid’s projects to use transport to improve the lives of Africans, including enabling expectant mothers to get to healthcare facilities inaccessible by other modes of transport.
