Redhead International has officially opened its new depot in Northern Ireland’s Mallusk.
The opening ceremony on 27 July was performed by Northern Ireland’s executive minister for regional development, Danny Kennedy.
The new 33,000ft² facility features a 20-tonne overhead crane for heavy lifting, as well as office space.
Redhead international’s director of Ireland and Scotland Mark Cosgrove says: “While we have had this type of capability in Great Britain and Dublin for many years, the new Mallusk depot will allow us to offer customers in Northern Ireland a full package of managed logistics services, including third party office space, warehousing and order fulfilment.”
In May, Redhead International opened a Bristol depot to provide a platform to drive growth into Eastern Europe, including Russia and the Balkan states.
