Pullman Fleet Solutions has officially launched Pullman Academy, an accredited training provider for employers across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and construction.

It aims to deliver accredited, hands-on training for safety-critical roles across the logistics, warehousing, transport, and manufacturing sectors. Backed by decades of real-world training experience, its courses focus on practical skills, legal compliance, and on-the-job readiness.

With accreditations from Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), RTITB, City & Guilds, and PADI, the Academy offers in-person training both regionally and nationwide.

The Academy is built on over 30 years of hands-on industry experience and aims to tackle the shortage of skilled, job-ready staff; increasing pressure around compliance and insurance and a lack of high-quality training in the wider sector.

“Skilled people are hard to find, and compliance isn’t optional,” said Pullman MD Dave Jones. “We’ve trained our own teams to the highest standards for decades, and Pullman Academy is about opening that up to other businesses. It’s practical, accredited training that helps you stay compliant, keep people safe, and retain highly skilled staff.”

Courses are delivered face-to-face by qualified instructors and cover critical safety and compliance areas such as first aid, fire marshal training, forklift truck operation, abrasive wheel safety, and HGV/trailer inspection.

Added Phil Whitehead, technical & compliance service manager: “You want to know your team’s trained properly, not just ticked a few boxes. That’s the purpose of the Academy, to provide hands-on training that drives real improvements in workplace performance. Our courses are specifically designed to improve safety, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and safeguard your business.”

Courses can be delivered at its IMI-accredited Sherburn HQ , on-site at any of Pullman’s UK locations across Yorkshire, the Midlands, North West, Greater London , and Scotland, or directly at customer premises (subject to facilities) with minimum bookings starting from just two learners.
