Perennial Freight has taken delivery of 50 tri-axle euroliner curtainsiders from SDC Trailers.
The trailer order, which boosts the firm’s trailer fleet to more than 700, is in response to the growth of the its European business.
Perennial Freight, which moves 25,000 full loads a year, operates a fleet of 70 trucks from five locations across Ireland, the UK and Europe, including its headquarters in Wexford Ireland.
Perennial Freight commercial director Chris Smyth said: “Due to the continued growth of our European business we decided to order 50 of the multi locking point euroliners from SDC.
"More of our clients are exporting into Europe and they need multi locking pillars so the euroliner trailers will give us a competitive advantage in the market place.”
The 13.7m trailers have a sliding roof for loading and off-loading. They also feature steel sliding posts, 26 pairs of deck lashing rings and double-height metal rear doors to provide extra load safety.
