Panther Warehousing will offer its customers new services from next month including Sunday deliveries, just months after its £17m MBO by MD Colin McCarthy.
The two-man delivery service will introduce Sunday deliveries, later cut offs for next-day delivery services and two-hour delivery slots as of 1 September.
The Sunday delivery service will be available nationwide, and customers will be able to make orders until 10pm to be delivered the next day throughout the week.
The company is also introducing weekend and bank holiday collections from clients for next-day deliveries.
Panther said its new services were developed with both its client’s and end customers in mind, and suggested they would be of particular use for customers making distress purchases.
The company was bought out from founder Wilson Barrett in a £17m MBO backed by McCarthy and private equity firm Lloyds Development Capital in April.
MD Colin McCarthy said: “As online shopping, particularly within both the home furnishings and consumer electronics sector, continues to grow it is essential that we continue to support the market in order to meet the needs of customers.
“Since the beginning of 2016 we have invested over £2m in the development of a wider product offering. Our new portfolio of services are once again an industry first and ones which we believe will revolutionise the home delivery marketplace and help our customers to compete in a very challenging sector.”
