Palletforce

Palletforce is to expand operations in the South East, with plans to open a southern hub, following its acquisition of QTR Transport earlier this year.

The network said Berkshire-based QTR Transport, which will operate exclusively for Palletforce when it leaves Palletline this week, will provide Palletforce members “with the best possible distribution solution in the region.”.

Since its purchase from owner Paul White in July this year, QTR Transport has been rebranded and seen 16 vehicles added to its 70-strong fleet. The pallet network has also invested in in upgrading QTR Transport’s tracking systems and in a new company livery.

Palletforce chief executive Michael Conroy said the acquisition represents “a new and exciting direction for Palletforce, providing us with vital network coverage in the South East”.

He added: “After six months, we are pleased to report that the business is trading above our expectations and the dedicated workforce has integrated well with our business.

"As we continue to invest across the fleet, IT and business infrastructure, we are predicting an exciting future ahead.

“We have, without doubt, the best possible member for the region and that provides Palletforce, our members and, more importantly, their customers with an unbeatable and reliable long-term solution.”
