Circle Express has become Palletforce’s third new member of 2017, while Palletways has welcomed a new haulier in the Leicester area.
Circle Express will cover west London, joining UK Freight Masters and QTR Transport in the network’s coverage of the capital.
MD Tom Ryan said: “Joining the UK’s leading distribution network strengthens our position in a growing market, and the prospect of offering guaranteed next-day delivery reinforces our reputation as a one-stop solution for freight forwarders.”
Last year Rico Logistics bought a majority shareholding in loss-making Circle Express.
Palletforce chief executive Michael Conroy said: “Circle Express is a major player in the UK logistics industry, with a deserved reputation for first-class service, and it will be a valuable addition to the network at a time of major expansion and investment.”
In Leicester, PET Ware-housing has joined Palletways and will cover the LE4, LE5, LE7, LE13 and LE14 postcodes.
PET Warehousing MD Vanessa Perry said: “We decided to join Palletways because of its mature domestic and pan-European networks. It is ahead in terms of innovation and technology.”
