Pallet-Track has revealed its members are providing an essential service to the government’s emergency Nightingale hospitals, supplying anything from medicines and equipment to electrical cables.
The company added that it had also joined forces with members of the Association of Pallet Networks (APN) for the express distribution of supplies.
Mobile People Powered Logistics is delivering vital medical equipment to all of the critical care field hospitals built in a matter of days for COVID-19 patients.
It has also provided a vehicle free of charge to deliver crowd barriers from Villa Park to help maintain essential social distancing at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
PGS Global Logistics delivered hospital furniture and essential medical equipment to the Nightingale hospital in Birmingham and Aztek Logistics in Hertfordshire delivered specialist flooring into the hospitals built at the NEC and at ExCel in London’s Docklands.
Pallet-Track said that Wimbledon-based ELB Partners had ensured robust over-bed lighting had reached patients being cared for at the Nightingale hospitals and ELB customer Batt Cables delivered vital electrical cable into the 4,000-bed ExCel Hospital completed last week.
