Pall-Ex is offering customers a two-hour delivery window for its palletised freight with the evolution of its NexusETA platform.
Working with tech specialists The Algorithm People, Pall-Ex’s tracking capabilities utilises AI to generate an accurate delivery window, and it said this would result in a more streamlined and efficient service for customers and goods recipients.
Ben Ruby, director at Pall-Ex Group member LHT Logistics, said: “The more it grows and the more the AI picks up in the background, the slicker the technology is going to get. It is a two-hour delivery window now but that is only going to get smaller and more accurate as time goes on.”
Lewis Cunningham at Luxury Flooring and Furnishings, a Pall-Ex Group customer, added: “The ETA tracking will provide our customers with more clarity regarding their delivery and give them more visibility and confidence.
“We expect this to reduce the number of customer enquiries and improve the overall customer experience.”
Pall-Ex has pledged to deliver a year of innovation in 2024 with the roll out of key initiatives such as the integration of sustainable practices and the deployment of Pall-Ex Logistics and 3PL solutions with the aim of enhancing services to members and customers.
