OSE European has joined the Fortec network, replacing Hedley Transport which moved to Palletline.
Gateshead-based OSE European now covers the majority of the NE postcodes for Fortec and the move marks the first time it has been a member of a pallet network.
Dominic Wintrip, OSE general manager said: “Not only will joining Fortec allow us to better meet the growing needs of our customers, as well as provide an optimum service for other Fortec members, it will allow us to positively alter our business model.

“As we grow, we will continue to increase our larger vehicle fleet and expand our customer base using services we did not previously offer.”
Meanwhile, a spokesman for Hedley Transport in Newcastle said it left Fortec in November 2018 for Palletline.
“We moved to a more profitable network with more input and better business solutions,” he said. It covers the same area as it did for its previous network.
