Yusen Logistics Group has announced the completion of its acquisition of Walden Health, including its subsidiaries Movianto, Eurotranspharma, Transpharma International, and Walden Digital.
The acquisition enhances Yusen Logistics’ already robust capabilities in the European healthcare logistics sector, reinforcing its position as a leader in delivering comprehensive transportation and supply chain solutions for the sector.
Under the deal, the acquired companies will operate as part of Yusen Logistics Healthcare network, which will now provide integrated services spanning international freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, last-mile delivery, and digital solutions. This will create a unified platform for healthcare logistics, offering end-to-end solutions.

Hiroki Harada, chief executive of Yusen Logistics Global Management Co, said: “This is an important milestone for Yusen Logistics, as we welcome the talented professionals from Walden Health. By combining Walden Health’s deep industry expertise with our global logistics network, we’re enhancing our healthcare logistics offerings and setting new standards for quality, reliability, and innovation across the supply chain.”
The acquisition supports Yusen Logistics’ long-term growth plans, aligning with its mid-term objectives starting in April 2026. Minoru Futonaka, MD of Yusen Logistics (Europe) noted that the integration of Walden Health further strengthens Yusen’s capabilities in Europe, allowing the company to deliver tailored solutions across the entire supply chain.
Bruno Jacques, deputy MD of Yusen Logistics (Europe) and CEO of Yusen Logistics Healthcare (Europe), emphasised the significance of the acquisition: “This marks an exciting chapter for us, as we build an integrated healthcare platform that ensures timely and safe delivery of critical healthcare products. Our mission remains clear: to protect product quality and ensure essential medicines reach patients safely.”
