Cider maker Westons has doubled its warehousing capacity and streamlined deliveries after opening a new 43,000 sq ft distribution centre in Ledbury.
The £3.5m investment adds more than 3,000 pallet spaces and strengthens its logistics infrastructure across domestic and export markets.
Westons said the new facility was semi-automated, with a shuttle racking system for more efficient storage and operational performance. It enables faster stock retrieval, improved inventory accuracy and boosts safety for warehouse staff.
It has also transitioned over 80% of its forklift truck fleet to electric and adopted route-planning software.

“The new distribution centre gives us the capacity and resilience to support future growth while continuing to operate efficiently and responsibly.

Westons employs more than 325 people locally and is one of the region’s longstanding family-owned manufacturers.
