United Pallet Netwok has appointed Bob Delaney (pictured right with UPN MD David Brown) as business development director.
Delaney has spent his entire career in logistics, beginning as a driver and then gaining experience across a number of operational roles, before moving into the pallet network sector in 2000.
Since then he has worked in senior positions at Palletways, Palletforce, and most recently held the post of network development director at TPN, before joining UPN this month.
In his new post, Delaney is responsible for developing new business opportunities.
Welcoming Delaney into UPN, managing director David Brown commented: “Bob’s appointment is a strategic move in our ambitious growth plan. His expertise and leadership are vital as we continue to deliver first-class sustainable logistics solutions to our clients”.
Delaney said: ”I’m excited to be joining a forward thinking organisation like UPN. Especially at a time when the company is redefining industry standards in terms of sustainability and cutting edge technology support”.
Established in 2001, UPN currently has over 90 members covering the whole of the UK, and also has European partners providing coverage throughout 26 countries.
