Commercial tyre management specialist Tructyre has boosted its leadership team with two key appointments, as it ramps up the company’s growth drive.

Paul Beddows has taken on the role of sales and marketing director, while Mark Evans has joined the company as finance director.

Both began at Tructyre on 30 March, bringing with them strong industry knowledge and extensive experience in their respective roles.

Beddows was previously at Dawsongroup EMC, where he was sales director for the past six years. During this time, he oversaw a period of sustained growth and managed a team responsible for Europe’s largest environmental municipal civil (EMC) fleet, consisting of more than 2,000 assets.

HIs background is in sales and marketing, having also worked at National Car Parks (NCP), Tyco and ParkingEye.

Beddows said: “For me, it’s all about the people. This is a great opportunity to build on the strong team and positive culture already in place, and to continue driving the business forward over the next few years,” says Beddows. “My background is focused on creating a high-performance environment where people can flourish and succeed.

“That’s what I am aiming to bring to Tructyre. It’s a business that prides itself on exceptional service, and I’m delighted to take on the challenge of helping to drive further growth and help to shape its future.”

Previously, he held senior financial positions at engineering firm IMI and at Finning, the world’s largest dealer of Caterpillar machinery and equipment.

Commenting on his new position, Evans said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Tructyre, with ambitious plans to take the business forward. Its reputation was a big draw, particularly its strength and scale.

“Working alongside the senior management team, it will be my role to ensure finance delivers a first-class service to the business. That’s imperative for the journey Tructyre is embarking on. I’m confident I can bring fresh ideas to improve performance and processes.”
