Pall-Ex Group is celebrating the success of its member commercial project, which it said had delivered commercial advantage for all the firms that took part.
It said the programme, which started two years ago had “empowered” nearly all of its members to refine their sales strategies and enhance their overall business performance.
The project involves providing businesses with a full commercial review and allowing them to use the skills and tools available from the pallet network.
This included a rates and pricing review; Nexus training; mystery shopper calls and a competitor analysis.
Pall-Ex said members had given the initiative a satisfaction rating of 9.7 out of 10 and that its success lay in its comprehensive approach.
Dave Young at Aylesbury Logistics said: “The member commercial review from the team at Pall-Ex was great. The information presented was very insightful and I certainly learnt a lot from it.
“The feedback I received from the team was fantastic, not only regarding our performance from a service perspective but also the marketing, profit per pallet and many other areas.”
Pall-Ex commercial manager Gareth Fenton said: “We believe in pushing the boundaries to ensure our members not only survive but thrive in a competitive market. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from our members is a testament to the value this initiative brings to their businesses.”
