Pall-Ex Group is strengthening its pan-European distribution network with the appointment of a new principal partner for the Benelux region.
Pall-Ex Europe has appointed Oudenaarde-based De Vreese as principal partner for the Benelux region, with the business assuming ownership of the organisation’s Benelux license and overseeing cross-border distribution across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Announcing the partnership, Pall-Ex said that De Vreese has more than 45 years of expertise in transport and third-party logistics and will play a pivotal role in driving the group’s next phase of growth across the region.
Giovanni Pallastrelli, Pall-Ex Europe MD, said: “As supply chains become increasingly complex, the strength and resilience of our European network has never been more important.
“Our strategy is centred on working with trusted regional partners who understand their markets, deliver operational excellence and share our long-term vision for sustainable growth.
“Benelux is a key gateway for European freight movements, and working with an experienced partner like De Vrees will help us strengthen connectivity across the region.
“The team’s more than 45 years of regional expertise will be invaluable as we continue to develop our European operations and support customers moving freight across borders.”
Pepijn De Vreese, De Vreese logistics director, added: “We are proud to take on the role of licence holder for Pall-Ex Benelux.
“Having operated within the industry for over four decades, we understand Pall-Ex’s values, ambitions and the importance of close collaboration between partners across the continent.
“We look forward to strengthening the Benelux operation and helping customers benefit from an even more connected European network.”
Pall-Ex said the appointment builds on a series of strategic developments across the group’s European operations, including the acquisition of Pall-Ex Iberia by Emons Logistics Group and the launch of a new distribution hub for Pall-Ex France.
