West Bromwich-based Sheldon Clayton Group has appointed Scott Campbell as managing director.
The Sheldon Clayton Group, which is a Pallet-Track member, is a multimodal group of companies, which specialises in logistics and warehousing and operates hubs in the West Midlands and Glasgow.
Campbell, who brings 25 years of experience working at the company to his new role, said he is determined to drive the business to new levels of growth and success, adding that his experience and expertise can help take the group to new heights.
“My many years of experience within the company mean I bring an in-depth understanding of both the business and the industry,” he said.
“This knowledge puts me in a strong position to build on the company’s successes and drive it forward.
“My primary focus is on ensuring we remain at the forefront of our competitive industry and, to do that, we will always be looking for ways to grow and evolve.
“Diversification, new opportunities, and acquisitions within our sector will remain key priorities, ensuring that Sheldon Clayton stays strong, adaptable, and ready for the future.

Campbell said his personal loyalty to the family-owned business is a key motivator for him. He takes over from former MD and mentor Dave Sheldon.
