Worcestershire-based Marshall’s Transport has renewed its logistics contract with sustainable hygiene products manufacturer Lucart, extending a supply chain partnership that has now lasted more than seven years.
The family-owned haulier will continue to manage Lucart’s UK pallet distribution through the Pallet-Track network, supporting deliveries of the company’s tissue paper products and dispensing systems to customers across the UK.
The partnership began in 2019 after Lucart’s previous haulage provider withdrew its services at short notice, leaving the manufacturer seeking an immediate replacement.
Marshall’s said it immediately mobilised a fleet of vehicles to restore deliveries and minimise disruption to customers, laying the foundations for what has become a long-term relationship.
Brian Simpson, operations director, said: “On the same day the request was received, we organised a full fleet of vehicles to handle Lucart’s UK pallet distribution.
“This rapid response ensured Lucart’s goods were quickly back on the road, allowing deliveries to continue with minimal disruption to customers.”
Since then, Marshall’s has continued to handle Lucart’s pallet distribution across the UK, providing additional transport capacity when required.
Julie Rhodes, Lucart customer service manager, said: “Marshall’sTransport have consistently shown themselves to be incredibly helpful, always ready to lend a hand and go above and beyond to support our efforts.
“Their willingness to adapt and respond quickly to our needs has played a key role in helping us meet and exceed customer expectations.
“We truly appreciate their reliability, flexibility, and commitment and we look forward to continuing this positive and collaborative partnership.”
The renewed agreement will see Marshall’s continue to support Lucart’s UK distribution through its shareholder membership of the Pallet-Track pallet network.
