Coleshill-based logistics, transport and shipping specialist LTS Global Solutions is celebrating its 25th anniversary with two new commemorative vehicles.

The company said that its “significant expansion” and a £2.2m investment programme have been front and centre of its anniversary year. 

LTS Global Solutions’ latest investments are a 26-tonne DAF truck and a Lawrence David trailer emblazoned in a specially designed 25th anniversary livery.

This is the latest in a string of investments, which includes a new fleet of Linde E25 and E35 L electric forklift trucks, a new transport management system and a new Volvo FH Globetrotter Aero which also features the distinctive livery to commemorate the company’s quarter century milestone. Also included in the lineup is a Volvo FM Electric truck. 

The company is continuing its global expansion and recently extended its footprint into Hong Kong with the opening of a new office earlier this year.

It has also announced plans for further expansion into Dubai and India in the coming months. 

Dave Hands, LTS Global Solutions MD, said continued investment and expansion were key to securing the long-term future of the company. 

“LTS Global Solutions has enjoyed a long and eventful journey and is now at the dawn of a new and exciting chapter as we reach this exciting milestone,” he explained. 

“We have long operated in a world where global trade dynamics are forever shifting but by extending into Asia and the Middle East we are well positioned to meet the ever-increasing demands of international shipping and logistics services,” he added. 

LTS Global Solutions, which specialises in logistics and supply chain management, was launched in 1999 and underwent a management buyout in 2020.

The company operates a 60-strong fleet of trucks and is based at its 133,000sq ft Logistics Centre of Excellence facility at Prologis Park, in Coleshill.

LTS Global Solutions is also on a drive to reduce its emissions, recently forging a new partnership with net zero specialists Planet Mark.

The partnership has led to LTS Global Solutions gaining Planet Mark Business Certification, which recognises progress in reducing emissions across Scopes 1 and 2 and core elements of Scope 3.
