Law Distribution of Haydock has sealed a deal with TIP Group for 20 new curtain-sided trailers.

The first ten trailers have been delivered to the company, with a further ten due to arrive in the summer.

In addition, the family-owned firm has ordered four double-deck trailers, also to be supplied later this year.

As part of the deal, TIP will manage trailer maintenance and servicing out of its Knowsley depot, as well as providing an on-site fitter at Law’s Haydock headquarters to carry out routine work.

Tom Moore (pictured right), TIP Group regional commercial leader (North), visited Law Distribution to officially hand over the first few trailers to the company’s head of transport, Oliver Robinson (pictured left).

Commenting on the decision to select the TIP trailers, Robinson said, “We’ve had an excellent working relationship with TIP for the last four years.

“As well as supplying a superior product which is popular with our drivers, the on-going premium support service the company provides, including technology maintenance, is vital for our operation.

“Trailers are not replaced as frequently as vehicles so good maintenance and servicing make a major contribution to their longevity.

“Although they are a large, global company, TIP work very hard at maintaining consistent service and building close working relationships, irrespective of the size of their customers. They always go the extra mile for us.”

Tom Moore of TIP Group added, “We’d like to thank Law Distribution for working with us on this substantial contract and we look forward to supporting Oliver and his team over the coming years.

“Building long-standing relationships with our customers really matters to us, as is supporting these businesses as they grow.”
