Kettering-based CTS Transport Group has appointed administrators, 20 years after the family firm was first launched.

The company was founded as Core Logistics, changing its name in 2018 to CTS Transport Group.

The haulier operates out of Brigstock in Kettering and has operating licences for 41 trucks and 41 trailers.

CTS Transport offers container haulage and storage, workshops services, specialist DAF technicians and mobile fleet servicing. It employs around 40 staff.

The company has appointed joint administrators Rebecca Jane Dacre and Mark Siddall of Forvis Mazars LLP.

Forvis Mazars declined to comment on the reasons for the company’s decision.
