Kerry Logistics has appointed Colin Eeles as the new business development director of its UK unit, as part of its drive to expand its UK customer base across verticals.
The UK division is part of Kerry Logistics Network, an Asia-based, global 3PL with offices in 60 countries, which offers a range of supply chain solutions from integrated logistics, international freight forwarding and e-commerce to industrial project logistics and infrastructure investment.
Kerry Logistics UK employs more than 200 staff at eight locations across the country. It provides end-to-end supply chain solutions for companies of all sizes. Its core business covers international freight forwarding, integrated logistics capabilities, and supply chain solutions.
The UK unit works with a range of clients, from multinational corporations to small and medium-sized companies from a wide spectrum of sectors, including fashion and lifestyle, FMCG, industrial and material science, food and beverage, and electronics and technology.
Eeles brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role having successfully managed sales and business development activities in the freight and logistics environment for more than 25 years, driving growth and delivering solutions to companies spanning multiple industries and verticals.
