Food and drink wholesaler JJ Foodservice has built on a three-decade relationship with Isuzu Trucks with the delivery of 20 new 3.5-tonne Grafters.

The N35.125s with automatic transmission come fitted with Solomon Commercials insulated box bodies, featuring ambient, chilled and frozen compartments, allowing for the delivery of a range of products.

They join a 155-strong, 100% Isuzu-supplied mixed commercial vehicle fleet, which also includes both 7.5-tonne and 13.5-tonne models.

JJ Food Service COO Kaan Hendekli said: “We continue to choose Isuzu because of the reliability and robust qualities of its vehicles, combined with the excellent aftersales support we receive, and of course, positive feedback from our drivers.

“As our operations have evolved, so has our relationship with the brand, with a shift away from the heavier models towards the Grafter, which has become an increasingly important part of our fleet.”

The vehicles are maintained in-house by JJ Foodservice and are expected to remain in service for at least 10 years.

Operating from 13 depots, JJ Foodservice supplies fresh, frozen, chilled and ambient food to over 100,000 customers.
