Global distributor ID Logistics has landed a major e-commerce contract to operate a new 450,000sq ft fulfilment centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, strengthening its growing UK footprint and creating over 300 jobs for the local area.

The new facility, which will become operational in early May 2026, will support the company’s expanding customer base in the e-commerce sector.

The Sittingbourne site will provide advanced warehousing, fulfilment and distribution services, supported by the latest automation and digital technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

ID Logistics, which has its headquarters in Orgon, France, specialises in warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, stock management, packaging, and e-commerce solutions and focuses on the e-commerce, FMCG, healthcare, and cosmetics sectors.

As well as its Sittingbourne site, the group also has UK sites in Northampton and Leeds.
