Fliss O’Hara has seen a meteoric rise at Whistl, becoming managing director of Whistl Fulfilment just 18 months after joining the company as fulfilment commercial director.
O’Hara joined the e-fulfilment, parcels and mail specialist in April last year from Clipper Logistics, where she spent 13 years rising from finance manager to director of business development.
Her promotion is part of a wider restructuring which will see the operations of Whistl’s multi-user warehouse fulfilment service now operate under one structure under the leadership of Fliss.
Michael Boulton will succeed Fliss as fulfilment commercial director. Boulton has been with Whistl for over ten years and most recently led its cross border business.
The Cross Border team will now report into Andrew Goddard, managing director for mail and cross border.
Michael Leeson, who also joined last year from Monsoon Accessorize as a regional director, has taken a broader role as operations director for all Whistl’s fulfilment activities.
In addition, Abi Chapman is taking responsibility as finance director for the whole of Whistl Fulfilment.
Nick Wells, Whistl executive chairman, said: “The fresh team we brought in to streamline and develop our fulfilment operations have done a superb job, and we are delighted to recognise their contribution through their new roles.
“Together this new leadership team has great potential to develop our fulfillment capability and deliver outstanding services to current and prospective customers. This is a very positive step forward for the Whistl Group.”
Fliss O’Hara, added: “It is a privilege to take on this role working with a great team across the whole fulfilment business. Together we will grow the business and continue to delight customers with a great and unique experience supported by the additional benefits available from the wider Whistl Group.”
