A Kent-based haulier with more than 20 years’ experience shipping across the UK and Europe has rejoined the Pallet-Track network.
Express European Couriers, which is based in Tonbridge, provides palletised freight distribution throughout Kent with network links to Europe and worldwide.
It boasts a fleet of 16 vehicles and 40,000sq ft of warehouse space, including a 20,000sq ft warehouse, which it opened in 2018 to meet rising demand.
Express European Couriers will cover several TN postcodes for Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track, which celebrates 20 years in business in January.
The company said it hopes its renewed partnership with Pallet-Track will enable it to grow, as it is already looking at adding new vehicles and additional drivers to its existing team of 15 staff.
Sue Law, Express European Couriers MD, said: “We’re delighted to be renewing our partnership with Pallet-Track ahead of its 20th anniversary year in 2024. We’ve been in business for nearly 25 years and the benefits of being part of a network like Pallet-Track are significant for us.
“It’s about being part of a company that offers loyalty, customer service, honesty, plus the benefits from knowing good people from the last time we worked together. We look forward to a long and productive working relationship.”
Stuart Godman, Pallet-Track chief executive, added: ”This strategic move will further grow our footprint in the south of England and enables us to work with a company which has built a great reputation for service over more than two decades.”
Godman was appointed as Pallet-Track chief executive in September last year, replacing Caroline Green, who stepped down after more than two-and-a-half years in the role. Goodman brings more than 30 years of logistics sector knowledge to the role, having held senior positions at Absolutely, Connect Group, DX Group, Target Express and TNT Express.
