Europa Worldwide Group’s growth and innovation has helped win the company the title of International Logistics Leader at the annual Logistics Leaders Network awards
The awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the logistics and supply chain management industry and highlight outstanding achievements in all areas of transport and logistics.
They also recognise those setting new standards in the sector. In this category, Europa was nominated by industry leaders in recognition of its exceptional performance and leadership.
Since launching 15 years ago, the awards have championed innovation and leadership across the sector. Some categories are open to entries, while others, like the International Logistics Leader Award, are reserved for nominations. Each entry is carefully evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry experts.
The judges said they were impressed by the growth of Europa Worldwide Group and its creation of the first Delivery Duty Paid customs solution and a money-back-guarantee on its European road freight operations, Europa Road, which they said has given UK exporters more confidence and flexibility trading in the EU post-Brexit.
They praised Europa Road for ensuring the frictionless flow of goods between the EU and the UK post-Brexit, with a suite of products called Europa Flow, and noted that Europa Road was also the first road cargo company to offer a money back guarantee on all European road freight operations post-Brexit.
The Logistics Leaders Network award was collected by Caroline Lister, branch manager of Europa Road in Sheffield, Tom MacDonald, regional manager (North) at Europa Air & Sea and Joe Partner, regional manager (North) at Europa Road.
Andrew Baxter, Europa Worldwide Group chief executive, said, “We’re proud to be recognised as an International Logistics Leader by our peers.
“This achievement reflects the dedication and innovation across our team, whose commitment to delivering excellence across global supply chains sets us apart.
“Winning this award highlights our drive to keep pushing boundaries, creating efficient logistics solutions for customers worldwide.”
