Chinese online retail behemoth JD.com has launched JoyExpress, its dedicated express delivery service, which will operate in the UK and across Europe.
JoyExpress, which is part of JD.com’s Jingdong Logistics supply chain and logistics arm, will support Joybuy, JD.com’s new online retail business in Europe.
Joybuy is currently in the beta testing phase, prior to launching in March 2026.
The JoyExpress teams, which are based in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and France, will offer same-day and next-day delivery in major cities, with an integrated delivery and installation service for large home appliances also available in major cities.
JoyExpress drivers will dress in branded uniforms and drive branded vehicles.
JD.com said the service will operate from more than 60 warehouses and depots across Europe, with plans to expand that number as the service is rolled out to more cities across the continent.
Whilst JoyExpress will initially focus on Joybuy, the service will eventually offer delivery support to business partners, the group confirmed.
