Currie Solutions Group said Scottish businessman Joe Wall had acquired a 50% stake in the company, providing capital to support the group through its next stage of growth.
The logistics firm said that the strategic investment represented a significant milestone and would support and strengthen its operations and development.
Wall, who is MD of Dunfermline-based ambient and chilled goods distributor Cress Co, said Currie Solutions had built a strong reputation within the sector and was supported by a talented team, loyal customers and a solid operational platform.
”I am pleased to get involved and look forward to supporting the business as it continues its next phase of development and growth,” he added.
Currie Solutions said Wall brought extensive industry experience and shared the company’s vision for the future. It said his investment reflected confidence in the business and long-term growth prospects.
The company said that there would be no disruption to its day-to-day operations and customers and suppliers would have “continuity across every aspect of the company.”
The investment will support investment in its people, infrastructure, technology and operations, it added.
