International transport and logistics provider cargo-partner is opening its first warehouse facility in the UK, marking a significant milestone in its strategic expansion plans.
The new 4,460 m² warehouse facility is located next to one of cargo-partner’s existing offices in Basildon. The company also has operational offices across Manchester, Bradford, and London.
The Basildon warehouse is equipped with dedicated areas for pallet racking, order picking/packing, and storage. It will be manned by a team of dedicated professionals, joining the business as part of a transfer of undertakings and adding significant expertise to cargo-partner’s workforce.

Austrian-based cargo-partner’s expansion into Basildon and its new warehouse follows a period of rapid growth in Britain, with the company opening its fourth UK office opposite London Heathrow Airport in November 2023. It also has a presence in Dublin
The logistics provider also has a very strong presence in Central and Eastern Europe and has recently substantially invested in expanding its footprint in Western Europe.
The company has long-established branch offices in Germany, Benelux, Sweden and Ireland, but has more recently expanded its network into the UK, Italy and Spain, as part of a stratgey to be represented in the most important markets in the region. It has 4,000 employees and 160 offices in more than 40 countries.
The new Basildon warehouse joins a portfolio of modern cargo-partner warehouses around the world. cargo-partner operates a network of warehouses with a total of over 300,000 m² of storage space throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, and the USA.
Further significant logistics investments in Western Europe include the 10,000 m² iLogistics Center in Sottrum near Hamburg, Germany, as well as the 6,045 m² warehouse in Roermond in the Netherlands.
